Dignity Access and the WashPod range of modular, temporary, disabled wetrooms were winners again this year at the Occupational Therapy Excellence Awards in Birmingham last week (20th June, 2025). We won the Excellence in Equipment Innovation category.
Phillip Mumford, MD for Dignity Access said “these accolades are a tremendous recognition of the powerful benefits to independent living that our WashPod range can offer people at the most vulnerable and difficult moments of their lives.”
Lewis Gopsill, Operations Director said “these awards are very much a celebration of our excellent team who always go the extra mile to make a difference. It’s also a thank-you to our wonderful customers whose loyalty and support we really appreciate”.
The Occupational Therapy Excellence Awards are UK-based business awards for the whole OT sector, also attracting entries from abroad. They are impartial and independent and look to reward relevant, appropriate, innovative, excellent and effective initiatives, treatments and techniques, and products and services, wherever they may be found. The entries are judged by an independent, expert panel of judges seeking to recognise those in the industry that help patients, residents or clients enjoy a better life.
The WashPod range (which can be rented or bought) now has 8 different models of various sizes to suit most needs and spaces. They can be installed in the home without adaptations in only a day or so, both internally and externally.
