The North Somerset Council team involved in assessing and processing Disabled Facilities Grants is the latest to take advantage of a presentation from Dignity Access on the WashPod range of temporary disabled wetrooms and their modular versatility that can solve many urgent, at-home bathing requirements.

Over 30 Occupational Therapists and OT support staff as well as members of the Housing Adaptations & Improvements Team, attended the talk given by Dignity Access’ Operations Director, Lewis Gopsill.

A Senior Occupational Therapist for North Somerset Adult Social Care said “It was good to hear about the breadth of applications and situations where a WashPod might help us provide a rapid solution, particularly for end of life care and keeping people in their own homes for longer”.

If you are part of a local authority or housing association team which is involved in disabled adaptations or DFG applications and would like to arrange a presentation for your team, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
