A NEW external model of WashPod has just been installed, in a day, at a client’s house in Rotherham. It’s the External Compact version that has been developed to provide a smaller alternative to the Full Size External and joins the 5 other models available. This will help ensure that WashPod can accommodate as many spaces and requirements as possible to give the option of dignified bathing at home to more people.

The External Compact WashPod has a highly insulated, waterproof outer case and electric underfloor heating together with a heated towel rail to maintain minimum temperature at 25°C if required.

All Compact WashPods:

• are great for when space is at a premium
• are Plug ‘n Play—so no need for existing plumbing connections
• can be installed in a conservatory
• versatile addition of a platform to gain wheelchair turning circle
• have a ramp on one side can be removed for tight installations
• have panels that can be configured to accommodate different orientations
• can be installed in  day for minimum disruption
