The Dignity Access Turnaround Service

Great for Local Authorities and Housing Associations

WashPods are great for Local Authorities and Housing Associations as they can be re-used many times so that multiple service users can reap the benefits.

LAs and HAs can use the unique Dignity Access Turnaround Service to buy WashPods through the Local Authority’s Disability Grants, such as the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG), where it can be classified as Removable Equipment or Specialised Equipment* and re-used again later so saving much needed funds.

After the first capital outlay, the WashPod remains the property of the LA or HA and thereafter only the Dignity Access service package needs funding at a great value cost.

The Service package includes:

– Initial virtual survey to confirm model suitability
Site survey and feasibility plans

– Pre-install and site set-up to ensure perfect fit each time
Installation, commissioning and handover

– Managed maintenance, servicing and call-outs during first year

– Removal and making good
Factory refurbishment and deep-clean so it’s ready to reuse

– Storage facility for up to 18 months in between installations

*The Housing Renewal Grants (Additional Conditions) General Consent 1996 entitles authorities to reclaim specialist equipment.
