Dignity Access has launched the Mini WashPod temporary, modular, disabled wetroom to join the WashPod range, making a total of 8 different models, both internal and external.

The Mini was developed from the Micro which is the smallest in the range but where the Micro is just a shower unit, the Mini offers the addition of a toilet with only the minimal addition to the footprint. With dimensions of just 1.75m L x 1.2m W and 2.0 H, the Mini is perfect for situations where space is at a premium, wheelchair and carer access may not be necessary but accessible toileting and bathing is still needed. However, its bi-fold doors still allow carers the ability to assist from the outside.

Like all WashPods, the Mini is plug ‘n play, requires no significant adaptations and can be installed in just half a day, minimising disruption and stress at a difficult time. Neither does it need to be near the property’s services but can be located at the other side of the house if required.

The Mini’s size does not affect the quality of the products used and its modularity allows it to be taken easily to less accessible sites.

It can also accommodate a wash-dry toilet but still fit snugly into the corner of a room or even in utility rooms. It’s a great option for the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) or it can be hired and bought.

When it’s no longer needed it can be removed as quickly leaving the property as it was.
