About us

Our Purpose

The purpose of Dignity Access is to use our WashPod temporary, accessible wetrooms to change the lives of those who have become disabled by providing interim, dignified bathing facilities.

Why Choose Us?

WashPod is designed, manufactured and installed by Dignity Access Ltd. This is a small, private business that is borne out of Cowan Architects, a chartered architects’ practice specialising in accommodation designs for the disabled, and modular experts.

Designed for Accessibility & Independence

We understand the challenges faced by individuals who need to adapt their homes for accessibility. Partnering with Cowan Architects, experts in both design and disability accommodation, we recognised the lack of interim solutions for those considering undergoing home adaptations or trying to avoid the disruption and expense this involves. This inspired the creation of the unique WashPod— a high-quality, modular, temporary wetroom designed to provide immediate, practical support.

Our WashPods are also perfect for rental properties as often the landlord doesn’t want to allow any accessible adaptations.  Healthcare professionals can arrange a Face-Time Survey with us when they visit to give them reassurance when time is tight.

Award Winners Two Years Running

The team was recognised when WashPod was an award winner at the Occupational Therapy Excellence Awards two years running in every category it entered. In 2025, Dignity Access was the outright winner in the Equipment Innovation category and in 2024 we were the outright winners in both the Gold category Best Equipment Provider and the Excellence in Equipment Innovation category.
